KARACHI, June 8: Sindh Governor Mohammedmian Soomro has constituted a committee to inspect the ongoing projects under the Annual Development Programme and the Khushhal Pakistan Programme.

The committee consists of Principal Secretary Akhter Zamin and Secretary for Local Bodies Fakhar Zaman

The decision was taken by the governor on Saturday after taking notice of slow progress on the projects under the ADP and the KPP in certain areas of Sindh.

The committee would start its tour of Jacobabad and Shikarpur on June 20.

It would tour these areas and inspect the ongoing projects under the ADP and the KPP and would determine causes of delay.

Mohammedmian Soomro warned that action would be taken against inefficient, lethargic and negligent officials.—PPI
