ISLAMABAD, April 27: French President Jacques Chirac, his UAE counterpart Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Alnahyan and Lebanese Prime Minister Rafik Hariri on Sunday held telephonic conversation with President Gen Pervez Musharraf separately and discussed with him the international and regional situation.

They conveyed greetings and good wishes of the people of their countries to Pakistanis and exchanged views with the president on the prevailing international and regional environment.

The three leaders appreciated Pakistan’s contribution to the international community on various important issues.

The president reciprocated the warm sentiments expressed by these leaders and reiterated Pakistan’s commitment to global peace and harmony.—APP
