NAWABSHAH, April 11: A large number of people, including women and children, fell unconscious due to scorching heat here on Thursday.

The city remained in the grip of high temperature and the mercury touched 43 degree Celsius.

The hot weather affected the trade and commercial activities. The shopping centres and markets wore a deserted look, as the weather forced the people to remain indoor
