BADIN, March 28: A farmer of Deh Malki, Badin taluka, Mitho Shah, has alleged that landlords Mohammad Hassan, Loung and Khuda Bux Parhiar have threatened to eject him from his land.

He alleged that the landlords were doing this at the behest of the provincial secretary of irrigation, Mir Mohammad Parhiar.

Speaking at a press conference here on Thursday, Mitho Shah said that the landlords had been forcing him to sell his land serial No. 193, area 4-0 acres, on lowest rate to them.

He further said that these lands were the only source of his livelihood, and he did not want to sell them. He alleged that he could not get justice at local level following the influence of a high official.

He said that he was being forced either to vacate land or face dire consequences.

He alleged that at the behest of the secretary his favourites were constructing road on his land.

He said that if justice was not done with him, he would resort to self-immolation on April 5, in front of the district Nazim office.
