This was said by Urdu poet Himayat Ali Shair at a function held here on Sunday at the Dial Das Club where his poetic work Aaina Dar Aaina was launched.

The function was organized by the Hyderabad Bazam-i-Adab and was presided over by the vice chancellor of the University of Sindh, Jamshoro, Mazharul Haq Siddiqui.

Speaking on the occasion the vice chancellor said that without literature and poetry, the promotion of any language would become a misnomer.
