KARACHI: PTI slams Zionist terrorism

Published December 7, 2001

KARACHI, Dec 6: The Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf has condemned Israel’s bombing on innocent civilians including children in Palestine and termed Israel as the real terrorist power in the Middle East which has the full support of the US.

PTI secretary general Mairaj Muhammad Khan, in a statement, said that Israel wanted to kill the peace process.

Maintaining that the retaliation of the Hamas and the Islamic Jehad was a consequence of the Israeli occupation of Palestinian and other Arab territories, he said that the Palestinian resistance would continue till Israel withdrew from all the occupied Arab territories and accepted the rights of the Palestinian people for an independent state of their own.

Mr Khan said if the US did not restrain Israeli aggression, then it would not only end the peace process and further intensify Palestinian resistance, but would also alienate public opinion.
