Mianwali dist to celebrate centenary

MIANWALI, Nov 29: Elaborate arrangements are being made to celebrate the centenary of Mianwali district.

According to district government sources, district nazim (DN) Humair Hayat Rokhri has constituted a committee to finalize arrangements.

To be held after Eidul Fitr, centenary celebrations will include sport events, cultural shows, declamation contests among students of different schools of the district, industrial and agricultural exhibitions.

Meanwhile, the local Press Club has already started holding various functions in this connection.—APP
