HYDERABAD, April 26: The University of Sindh on Tuesday finalized schedule for the first and second semester examination of all institutes and departments of bachelors and masters degree programme for 2004 and 2005 batches. A high-level meeting of deans of faculties, directors of institutes and chairperson of all departments presided over by vice-chancellor Mazharul Haq Siddiqui discussed in detail the schedule of examinations.

The meeting decided that the first semester examination of 2005 of all improvers and failure candidates of new and noon batches of regular, improver and second semester examination of candidates of old batch for year 2004 batch would commence from May 11.

The meeting decided that the process of issuance of examination forms from institutes and departments, submission of examination forms, depositing of forms and examination fee would be completed during April 27 to May 3.

The meeting approved the schedule for completion of process of examination forms, preparation as well as issuance of admit cards by the examination department which would be available from May 4 to May 10.

The meeting decided that the department would ensure the checking of admission roll number, previous seat numbers, number of subjects including minor and major were correctly mentioned by candidates and would be countersigned.

It approved that the candidates would attach two passport size photographs, attested photocopy of students admit card and copy of National Identity Card.

The improvers, failures candidates will attach their first semester admit card and slip along-with their examination forms.

LAST DATE: The registrar of the University of Sindh has notified that the last date for depositing admission fee for provisional admission in affiliated colleges of the university for BA, BSc, B.Com, BSW and BSc (home economics) pass part-II has been fixed as May 9.
