KARACHI, March 6: The construction work on one of the few underpasses to be constructed at vantage points in Karachi for improved traffic flow will be starting at Schon Circle, Clifton from Monday (March 7).

Work will start with digging on both sides of the Khayaban-i-Iqbal between Schon Circle and Teen Talwar on Clifton Road.

In order to facilitate development work, the Karachi traffic police have provided alternative routes for people.

Accordingly, traffic moving from Clifton Bridge towards Schon Circle would not be able to move beyond the Teen Talwar traffic signal. Traffic would either have to use the Bath Island route or the Chartered Accountant Road via Ch Khaliquzzaman Road to reach Schon Circle.

Similarly, traffic coming from Schon Circle to Teen Talwar would not be able to move ahead due to the work. Traffic, therefore, coming from this side and from Khayaban-i-Jami would reach Teen Talwar from the side of the Submarine Chowk, Ch Khaliquzzaman Road or Bath Island.- APP
