GUJRANWALA, Oct 29: Religious parties continued on Monday their protest against the US-led attacks on Afghanistan and the killing of innocent people there.

In Gujranwala, activists of Jamiat Ulema-i-Islam, Jamaat-i- Islami, Sipah-i-Sahaba Pakistan and other jehadi organizations took out a rally from Sheranwala Bagh to Gondlawala Chowk along GT Road where they set on fire the effigy of US president.

Speaking to the participants in the rally, their leaders criticized the government for supporting US and its allies.

Supporting Osama Bin Laden and Mullah Muhammad Omar, they said that they would continue their protest against the government and US-led attacks on Afghanistan.

They said that US and its allies were bombing Afghanistan without any justification because no solid proof had been given against Osama.

They strongly condemned the bombing of mosques, hospitals, buses and public places in Afghanistan and urged United Nations Security Council to take serious note against US and its allies for killing innocent civilians, specially women and children.

The speakers included Maulana Syed Abdul Malik Shah, Maulana Ghulam Kibriya Shah and Dr Ghulam Muhammad.

VEHARI: A large number of various religious parties activists took out a procession against US attack on innocent Afghan people.
