QUETTA, Oct 9: The All Quetta Local Buses Association has announced that following the failure of negotiation with the city government, transporters would begin a strike from Tuesday to protest non-resolution of their issues.

In a statement issued here on Saturday, association president Babo Shafi said an emergency meeting of transporters was held on Saturday and discussed the situation arising out of unsuccessful talks between the representatives of local bus transporters and the district city government.

The statement alleged that government officials were creating complications that forced the transporters to go on the strike.
