KARACHI, June 1: The army selection and recruitment centre, Karachi, has announced that the selection team will visit various union councils of Thatta district for enrolment from June 3.

On June 3, the team will visit UC Dhabeji at 9.30am, while at 12 noon it will conduct enrolment at UC Gharo and at 3pm in UC Gujjo. On June 4, the team will visit UC Makli and Town Committee Thatta at 9am and 12 noon respectively. On June 5, the team will recruit candidates at UC Jhimpir and UC Jherruck at 9.30am and 1.30pm.

The candidates are required to be between 17 and 23 years of age with 5 feet 6 inches height (5ft. 3 and 4 inches is also acceptable for middle entry trades and drivers.) The candidates are required to bring their middle/matric certificates along with domicile, national identity card/form ‘B’ and six passport size photographs.

The recruiting team will entertain candidates from Thatta district only and is planning a visit shortly to other districts.—PPI
