KARACHI, March 20: Three people were killed in different incidents in the city on Saturday. Police said that unknown assailants forced their way into the house of a 40-year-old man, Malik Hayat , in New Muzaffarabad Colony, Quaidabad, and shot him dead.

The police quoted the family of Mr Hayat, hailing from Badin, that he had been killed because of some family rivalry.

In another incident, a man, Anwar, allegedly stabbed his brother-in-law, Mohammad Akram, to death in Patel Para locality of Jamshed Quarters. Police believed that a family dispute could be responsible for the killing.
