KASUR, Feb 7: Two cyclists were killed by a speeding car near Phoolnagar bypass on Multan Road on Saturday. Police said Arshad Zaman and Baqir Tufail were returning from a factory on a bicycle when they were hit and killed by a speeding car (No AJK 13) near Phoolnagar bypass.

SHOT DEAD: Three men murdered one of their rival in Gaga Sarai village of Phoolnagar area on Saturday.

Police said Shabbir and his two accomplices opened fire at Liaquat Ali, Shaukat Ali and Amin. As a result, Liaquat died on the spot while Shaukat and Amin were injured.

The injured were taken to the RHC Phoolnagar.

Police said that both the parties had quarrelled over an agricultural land, but the elders settled the matter.

Phoolnagar police registered a case with no arrest.

ABDUCTED: Two youths were abducted from separate areas on Saturday.

Police said Pappi and his three accomplices took away Imran at gun point from Kamal Shah Chowk of Kasur.

Hamid and his accomplice forced their entry into a house at Ward No 4 and abducted a girl. They also took away gold worth of Rs30,000.

Illahabad police registered a case on the report of the father of the girl.
