KHAIRPUR: Man killed by brother

KHAIRPUR, Feb 7: A man, Badar Dharejo, was killed by his brother, Naseem Dharejo, in Salar Mohalla, Pir-jo-Goth, on Saturday. Both the brothers had developed some differences. Naseem beheaded his elder brother with a sickle when he was asleep. The accused escaped after committing the crime.

Qamar Dharejo, father of the killed man, lodged an FIR under section 302 at the Pir-jo-Goth police station.

INJURED: At least five people were injured in a clash between two groups in Siyal village near Ahmedpur, Kingri taluka on Friday. The groups attacked each other with axes.

The injured - Ghulam Hyder, Ghulam Qadir, Mohammad Urs, Khuda Bux and Abdul Kareem - were admitted to a local hospital.

TRANSFERRED: The DCO on Friday transferred SHO Sobhodero Hafeezullah Mangnijo, and SHO Thari Mirwah Imdad Ali to the police lines Khairpur.
