DERA ISMAIL KHAN: Three Pos arrested

DERA ISMAIL KHAN, Feb 4: The local police arrested on Wednesday three notorious proclaimed offenders who were wanted by the Balochistan police in different cases of kidnapping for ransom, murder and dacoity.

Sources said on receiving an information that some proclaimed offenders who had escaped from Mach jail in Balochistan were hiding in a house in Gulberg Town, Multan Road, SSP Usman Zakaria constituted a police party which raided the place and arrested three proclaimed offenders, namely Abdul Haleem alias Naqeebullah, Abdul Latif, and Abdur Rasheed alias Saqibullah.

The arrested accused were residents of Jafferabad, district Ziarat, Balochistan.

The accused were allegedly involved in the well-known kidnapping of Sardar Mohammad Akram Khan Jaffer and released him on payment of Rs10 million ransom money. Police also recovered Rs283,000 and some important documents from the house.
