KARACHI, April 23: The annual prize distribution ceremony of Defence Authority Degree College was held on Saturday. Speaking as chief guest DHA Director Education Brig (Retd) Muzaffarul Hassan said that the aim of education was to bring enlightenment in the life and groom students to become responsible citizens of the society.

He said that the philosophy of the DHA educational institutions was to create intellectually vibrant and enabling environment so as to develop a sound sense of discipline, character and solid academic background in students.

The director exhorted the faculty members to discharge the onerous responsibility of preparing the future generation entrusted on them with a sense of utmost commitment and dedication.

Earlier, Principal of the College, Brig (Retd) Mohammad Ali Jawaid, in his welcome address highlighted the achievements of students in various fields of academic and co-curricular activities.

At the end the chief guest awarded prizes and certificates to the outstanding students of the college. — APP
