KARACHI, April 14: Kulsoom Hazara grabbed gold, Neelam Afzal, Sundhus Salam and Mahajabeen silver and Humaira Akhter bronze medal to help Sindh take third position in Second Women Karate Championship held at Pakistan Sports Complex in Islamabad.

According to a press release, the two-day tournament which ended on Wednesday played under the supervision of Pakistan Women Karate.

The tournament was played in 43,48,53,60 and 60 kgs plus categories including team and individual Kata competititon.

WAPDA, with 4 gold, one silver and bronze medal, stood first, Pakistan Army with two each in gold and bronze, and 1 silver medal remained second.—PPI
