AHMEDABAD, April 4: Besides providing tight security to Pakistan cricket team, visitors have also been insured for Rs two crore (Rs20 million) for their fourth ODI against India to be played here next week. “All arrangements are in place at the stadium to ensure that match goes off well. There should be no security concerns as adequate police cover will be given to both teams,” Gujarat Cricket Association president Narhari Amin told reporters.

He said Pakistan team has been insured for Rs two crore while Rs 30 lakh insurance has been taken for any damage caused to Sardar Patel stadium at Motera on city outskirts.

Another cover for Rs 10 lakh is in place in case match does not take place for any reason plus Rs 50 lakh advertising insurance cover.—PPI
