KARACHI, April 3: A seminar on “Impact of environmental pollution on health, economy and natural resource management” will start from Monday at Karachi University (KU). This was stated by KU’s Microbiology Department Chairperson Prof Dr Shahana Urooj Kazmi. The two-day moot is being organized by the University of Karachi and Pakistan Society for Microbiology in collaboration with the ministry of environment.

Minister of State for Enivornment Amin Aslam Khan will be the chief guest at the inaugural session while vice-chancellor of Karachi University Prof Dr Pirzada Qasim Raza Siddiqi will preside. — APP
