Women rights moot

LAHORE, March 20: A two-day national conference highlighting rights of women, peasants, workers and minorities, will be held here under the aegis of Applied for Socio-Economic Research (ASR) from Tuesday (tomorrow). According to a press release, the conference entitled “Strength in Voices” will take up issues of national importance like Kalabagh Dam, rights of minorities, peace in Kashmir and evolve strategy to fight global terrorism. As many as 250 participants from different parts of the country are expected. —APP
