KARACHI: Salma Ahmed sent to jail

KARACHI, March 12: Administrative Judge of the accountability court in Sindh on Saturday remanded Begum Salma Ahmed to jail custody.

She was produced by the investigating officer, Mohammad Hashim Qureshi, of the NAB Sindh.

Special prosecutor Naeem Khan Tanoli for NAB was also present in the court. It was contended by the NAB prosecutor that investigation is almost complete, therefore, Begum Salma Ahmed be remanded to jail custody. The court ordered her remand to jail custody, with directives to the Superintendent of Women’s Prison to produce the accused before the court on March 21.—APP
