PESHAWAR, Feb 28: Four local leaders, who recently resigned from Awami National Party, have demanded immediate disciplinary action against ANP provincial general secretary Fareed Toofan to save the party from further damage.

In a joint statement ANP provincial joint secretaries Naveed Khan Pir Fayaz Ali Shah, Mohammad Ali Mahmand and Hussain Shah Yousafzai said that they had tendered resignations against negative attitude of Mr Toofan.

They alleged that Mr Toofan had openly attacked President ANP Senator Asfandyar Wali Khan through electronic and print media and held him responsible for the damage done to the party.
