KHAIRPUR, Feb 16: One person was killed in a collision between two motorcycles here on Wednesday. Riaz Janwari along with another person was coming to Bagh Bacharah from the Neer Waro village, when their motorcycle collided with another motorcycle.
Riaz, 30, died on the spot. An FIR has been registered with the Thari Mirwah police station against Iqbal Hussain Janwari.
CASE REGISTERED: A-section police have registered a case against one Mohammad Saleem Shaikh and arrested him on charge of attempt to commit suicide here on Wednesday. Saleem Shaikh said that one Muhib Shah has illegally detained him in Autaq and he was pressured and terrified him to commit suicide under stress.
WATER SHORTAGE: Growers of Sobhodero taluka took out a procession against shortage of water in 15 waterways of the taluka on Wednesday. Growers told newsmen that since last three months water was stopped in all the waterways of Sobhodero taluka due to which their crops have been affected. They said that it was an engineered shortage of water.
