KHAIRPUR, Dec 6: Seven armed men kidnapped a woman and her minor daughter from Shah Ladhani village in Khairpur taluka on Monday. The armed men entered the house of Ms Katoo Lal Baigy and kidnapped Begum , wife of Khairat Ali, and their nine-year old daughter Gul Bano.
Ms Katoo has lodged an FIR against Amir Bux, Bhoora, Khaliq, Mohsin, Mumtaz and Ms Mithan, residents of Multan, with the Babburloi police.
KILLED: A farmer, Mohammad Mithal Kurkhani, 26, was shot dead by attackers in Kot Mir Mohammad village near here on Monday. It is said that the killing has been caused by a land dispute. However, no case was registered till the filing of this report.
ROBBERY: Six armed robbers looted passengers of a wagon on the National Highway near Pir Mangio on Sunday night.
