DADU, Dec 6: Senate Chairman and Acting President Mohammedmian Soomro has directed the district administration to complete construction work at different parts of the shrine of Qalandar Lal Shahbaz and provide sweet water , drainage and sanitation facilities at the place.

He held a meeting with DCO Alamuddin Bullo and officials of the Auqaf department after visiting the shrine in Sehwan on Sunday. Mr Soomro also directed the executing agency to complete construction work at the Dhamal court and other parts on time. He said fund was available for the construction work of the shrine but it should be utilized properly.

The senate chairman laid floral wreaths on the shrine and offered Fateha. Later, he visited the shrine of Hazrat Laki Shah Saddar in Laki, offered Fateha laid and floral wreath. He also visited Sann and offered condolence to Syed Jalal Mehmood Shah on the death of his father, Syed Imdad Mehmood Shah.

Some weeks ago, Mr Soomro during his visit to the district had expressed dissatisfaction over the construction work at the shrine of Lal Shahbaz and ordered an inquiry into the matter. A 12-member team investigated the matter and but has not submitted its report so far.
