KARACHI, Sept 12: Sindh Home Minister Rauf Siddiqui has said that all centres of Madadgar 15 will be equipped with latest facilities so that these could deliver upto people's aspirations.

The minister, accompanied by IGP Syed Kamal Shah and CCPO Tariq Jameel, visited the Madadgar 15 centre, set up at Saddar police station.

The officials of Karachi Electric Supply Corporation, Karachi Water and Sewerage Board, Fire Brigade, PTCL, and other civic departments were also present on the occasion. The officials have been deployed at the Madadgar 15 centre to ensure quick redressal of public complaints.

The home minister called upon the officials to resolve the complaints within shortest possible time to make these centres as an effective tool in ameliorating people's miseries.

This arrangement was in pursuance of the concept that public could get all basic facilities under one roof, he said. Rauf Siddiqui was told that if anybody rang up at 15 for police help, the police personnel would reach the spot within five to 10 minutes after receiving the call.

The minister asked the IGP to prepare a working paper about the required operational infrastructure i.e. vans, motorcycles and other accessories for effectively achieving the planned objectives. Responding to the demand from police officials, he assured them that allocation of admission quota for their children in colleges would be duly considered. -APP
