FAISALABAD, Sept 5: The Sargodha Road police registered a dacoity case against a Union Council Nazim and his two accomplices here on Sunday.

Reports said that UC Nazim Abdul Hameed Butt and his accomplices Sajjad and Imtiaz allegedly snatched a movie camera from one Shahzad Ahmed. However, no arrest has so far been made in this respect.

SUICIDE: A youth and a married girl committed suicide in separate incidents here on Sunday. Farzana Parveen (18), wife of Imran Ahmed of Garah village, ended her life allegedly by setting herself ablaze after a minor altercation with her husband. Her marriage took place a few months back.

An unknown youth committed suicide by throwing himself in front of a running train near Nighebanpura level-crossing. The police sent the body to hospital for autopsy. The identity of the deceased could not be established so far.

ELECTROCUTED: A power loom worker was electrocuted in an industrial unit on Dogranwan Road in the limits of D-Type Colony police station here on Saturday night. Reports said that Jawed Iqbal incidentally touched a live wire during his work in the factory.
