KHAR, Aug 24: A man and his four sons, were killed by their close relatives here at Mamond sub-division on Monday night. The alleged killers, Warkotae Khan and his two sons, escaped from the scene.

The tribesmen of Mamond tribe with the support of local administration put to torch five houses of the alleged killers. The administration has arrested five of close relatives of the killers under the Frontier Crimes Regulations. Search for other alleged killers is continued.

Warkotae Khan is the brother of the deceased Nazeer Khan. They were having property dispute for the last many years in Nakhter village near Pakistan-Afghanistan border.

On Monday exchange of hot words took place between the two brothers. Warkotae Khan allegedly reached the residence of Nazeer along with his two sons and started firing at him and his sons.

The indiscriminate firing resulted in killing of Nazeer and his sons Ramdad, Gul Shareef, Khan Gul and Rustam Khan. Wife of Nazeer also received serious injuries during the occurrence and was admitted at Agency Headquarters Hospital. The five detained persons are two sons of Warkotae Khan and his other three relatives.
