KARACHI, May 23: Fifteen vehicles — eight cars and seven motorcycles — were either hijacked or stolen in the city on Thursday, the police said.

Four cars were hijacked. Four others were stolen. Three motorcycles were hijacked. Four others were stolen.

The police also claimed to have recovered two cars and two motorcycles in the city.

ACCIDENTS: A five-year-old boy died in a road accident in Mauripur on Thursday.

The police said that Mohsin died and his brother Zeeshan, aged six, was injured when a speeding bus collided with the jeep on which they were travelling.

The police said that the two children were travelling, with their father, in their jeep (BB-5526), when a tyre of the bus burst and it collided with the jeep.

Both the injured boys were rushed to Civil Hospital, where Mohsin died. Zeeshan was admitted to the hospital.
