LONDON, Aug 12: Pakistani leg-spinner Danish Kaneria is to resume playing for Essex after Australian Scott Brant was forced to fly home for a possible operation on a serious foot injury.
Kaneria started the season with Essex but left in June to join up with Pakistan for the Asia Cup in Sri Lanka. He failed to make the Pakistan squad for next month's ICC Champions Trophy. -AFP
