RIYADH, July 21: Two wanted militants, Eisa bin Saad Al Oshan and Mujab Abu Ras Al Dossary, were killed during an exchange of gunfire with security forces in the King Fahd area in Riyadh on Wednesday morning.

Two men were arrested after the shootout from the house where the armed militants were hiding. Three militants were injured during the clash. The wife and three children of the current Al Qaeda leader in the kingdom, Saleh Al Oufy, are also reported to be in the custody of the authorities.

Later on Wednesday, the head of US citizen Paul Marshal Johnson, beheaded by the militants on June 18, was found by authorities. The head was kept in a refrigerator in the same house.

Last week, the US embassy in Riyadh had announced that a search for the body of Paul Johnson had been given up because of lack of any clue about it. The Johnson family, however, had been pressing that the body should be found so that they could arrange a proper funeral.
