KARACHI, July 16: Police claimed to have found a seriously injured youth in Gulshan-i-Iqbal late on Thursday night, who died on his way to hospital.

The police said they found Kashif, 30, near a private clinic in Block 15, Gulshan-i-Iqbal.

The victim, a resident of Block 16, had left his house on Thursday evening, informing his family members that he was going to see some friends, the police said.

The victim's father is based in Saudi Arabia. His brother lodged an FIR against unknown persons. According to the family members, Kashif had no links with any religious or political party.

SUICIDE: A young housewife seemingly committed suicide by shooting herself in head in Model Colony on Friday morning. Police said Shabnam, 35, killed herself with her husband's pistol after getting fed up with domestic disputes. The victim had a five-year old son.

The police said that the victim's husband was a doctor. Her body was sent to the Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre for post-mortem examination.

ACCIDENT: A motorcyclist, Salam Azhar, 28, died when he was hit by a truck in F B Area near Mamjee Hospital on Friday.
