SAHIWAL, June 7: Civic agencies in several cities of the Punjab had their work cut out on Monday after Sunday night's windstorm that uprooted trees, hoardings and electric poles.

In Sahiwal, roofs of several Kutcha houses were blown away by the storm. Telephone and electricity networks were badly damaged. Two people were reported killed and four seriously injured.
