KARACHI, May 31: The examination department, Karachi University, has yet not announced the results of BA (regular and private) and BSc annual examinations-2003, which were held in Dec, 2003.

Similarly, it has also failed to announce the results of Third Professional MBBS, annual examinations-2003, which is disturbing for the candidates. The results have been delayed despite repeated assurances by KU examination controller that the pending results will be declared by the end of May.

Sources at KU exams department informed PPI that both examiners as well as the controller were responsible for the inordinate delay in announcing results. "Examiners are not cooperating with the KU exams department as they have some reservations about attitude of some officials of the department," they added.

When contacted, the controller said he was not feeling well for some days and he could not say definitely when BA, BSc and MBBS results would be announced. "Yes, I had announced to declare all the results by May, but owing to some problems, my department failed to announce the results," he said.

Llb EXAMS: The examinations department, Karachi University, on Monday announced the schedule of LLB Final (third year) annual examinations-2004, commencing from June, 2004.

According to the schedule, paper-I, Law of Civil Procedure, will be held on Tuesday, June 8, paper-II, Criminal Procedure on Thursday, June 10, paper-III, Law of Evidence on Saturday, June 12, paper-IV, Conveyancing and Pleadings, on Monday, June 14, paper-V, Constitutional Law on Wednesday, June 16, paper-VI, Minor Acts on Friday, June 18 and paper-VII, Medical Jurisprudence, will be held on Monday, June 21.

KU exams department has also notified examination centres for the exam, according to which, the candidates from seat no 25001 to 25393, will appear at Mathematics department, candidates from seat no 25394 to 25664 and remaining at the Mass Communication department and the candidates from seat no 26001 to 26203 and remaining will appear at the Political Science department.

Exam Forms: The examination department, Karachi University, notified on Monday that the examination forms and fees of second professional, MBBS supplementary examinations-2004, will be accepted latest by June 12. - PPI
