KARACHI, March 7: Sindh Governor Dr Ishratul Ibad Khan has said that distribution of water among the provinces is the country's basic issue and the government has taken practical steps to resolve it.

He was talking to the heads of Parliamentary and Technical committees on water, Senator Nisar Memon and ANG Abbasi, and other members of these bodies, who met him at the Governor's House on Saturday.

Sindh Irrigation Minister Sadruddin Shah Rashdi and secretary of provincial Irrigation department, Bashir Dahar, besides Principal Secretary Akhtar Zamin, were also present on the occasion. -APP
