Naseem comes to Quetta's rescue

MULTAN, Feb 24: Experienced left-hander Naseem Khan scored an unbeaten 114 to dig Quetta out of trouble on the second day of their Quaid-i-Azam Trophy tie at the Multan Cricket Stadium on Tuesday.

At one stage, Quetta were reeling at 109 for six, but Naseem helped by got good support from tailenders Faisal Irfan (35) and Stephen John (40 not out) lifted the total to 268 for seven at close of play.

Earlier, Rehan Rafiq, another left-hander, finished undefeated on 78 to lift Multan's first innings total to 297 from the overnight 235 for six.
