SUKKUR: HSC-II results announced

SUKKUR, Feb 6: The controller of examinations, Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Sukkur, has announced the results of supplementary examinations of HSC-II.

In the pre-medical group, 2,427 candidates, including 674 girls, appeared in the examinations. A total of 1,844 candidates passed the examinations, 475 were declared fail and the results of 108 were withheld for different reasons.

Among boy students, one candidate secured grade-A, 36, grade-B, 601, grade-C, 677, grade-D and two got grade-E. Among girls, 21 candidates obtained grade-B, 337, grade-C and 169 got grade-D.

The pass percentage of boys remained 75.13 and of girls 78.19. In the pre-engineering group, 1,146 boys and 66 girls appeared in the examinations. Among boys, one candidate secured grade-A, 22, grade-B, 303, grade-C, 462, grade-D and six candidates secured grade-E.

Among girls, three got grade-B, 31, grade-C and 14 got grade-D. As many as 842 passed the examinations, 347 were declared fail and the results of 23 candidates were withhold.

The pass percentage of boy candidates remained 69.28 and of girls 72.73. In the humanities group, 920 boys and 412 girls appeared in the examinations. The pass percentage of boys remained 55.00 and of girls 63.83.

Among boys, two grabbed grade-B, 73, grade-C, 384, grade-D and 47 took grade-E.

Among girls, two got grade-B, 74, grade-C, 173, grade-D and 14 grade-E. passed and 16 were declared fail. The pass percentage of boys remained 73.53 and of girls 74.07.

Among boys, two candidates secured grade-C and 23 grade-D. Among girls, one candidate got grade-B, 12, grade-C and seven got grade-D. In the home economics group, three candidates secured grade-B and five grabbed grade-C.
