KARACHI, Feb 1: Bandits took away a total of 97 vehicles, including 37 cars and 60 motorcycles, during the last one week from different areas of the city.

According to the police statistics, bandits took away 17 cars at gunpoint while 20 cars were stolen from North Nazimabad, Gulshan-i-Iqbal, F.B. Area, Clifton, Defence, Saddar, Lyari and PECHS.

Nineteen motorcycles were taken away at gunpoint while 41 were stolen from different areas of F.B. Area, New Karachi, Defence, Lyari, Zaman Town.

Police claimed to have recovered 75 stolen cars and motorcycles during the last week from the city.
