DADU, Jan 4: The Nazims and councillors of Thariri Mohabbat, Betto Jatoi, Khan-jo-Goth and Radhan union councils will resign from their offices if the law and order situation is not improved in the area.

This was said by Thariri Mohabbat UC Nazim Ahmad Najeeb Narejo, Radhan UC Nazim Pir Liaquat Ali Qureshi, Khan-jo-Goth UC Nazim Dr Hidayat Chandio and Betto Jatoi UC Nazim Zafar Ali Jatoi while speaking at a press conference in Radhan on Sunday.

They said the gang of bandit Gulab Jiskani had kidnapped four passengers in the area and road robberies were continuing but the police were not taking action against the criminals.

They claimed that Thariri Mohabbat SHO Gul Mohammad Chachar had controlled the situation but he was suspended due to the influence of criminals. They said after his suspension, the crime rate had increased in Thariri Mohabbat.

They appealed to the Sindh chief minister, IGP and the Hyderabad RPO to pay attention to the area.

SHOT DEAD: Eighteen-year-old Aijaz Ahmad Qambrani was shot dead over an old enmity in Haji Paryal Qambrani village, Khairpur Nathan Shah taluka, on Saturday. Ghulam Hyder Qambrani, the uncle of Ahmed, lodged an FIR against Sabir, Mansoor, Gulzar and Abdul Karim.
