U-25 Squash next month

KARACHI, Feb 17: Four-day Inter-provincial U-25 Squash Team Championship for men and women begins at Hyderabad Gymkhana from March 21, organisers announced on Tuesday.

The Hyderabad District Squash Association will organise the event in collaboration with Sindh Squash Association.

The players should be U-25 on March 24, 2009 and neither be employed nor has played for any department in the past.

Every provincial team will consist of four men’s and as many women’s besides two officials.

Meanwhile, trials to select Sindh team for the event will be held at the PN Roshan Khan-Jahangir Khan squash complex here from Feb 21.

The provincial squash body has exempted Sindh No 1 Kashif Khan from the trials. The player is presently competing in the Malaysian circuit.

Interested players have been asked to bring their original Nadra B form, CNIC or passport for age scrutiny besides domicile/PRC for confirmation of place of birth.
