SUKKUR: Drone attacks condemned

SUKKUR, Jan 25: The general secretary of the Sindh chapter of Jamiat Ulema-i-Islam, Senator Dr Khalid Mehmood Soomro, has condemned the recent US drone strikes in the tribal areas said that the US was not a well-wisher of Pakistan. He called upon the government to change its policies towards the US.

Talking to newsmen in Sukkur on Sunday, he urged the government to part ways with the US and work with Islamic countries for the unity of the Ummah.

He said that there was no difference between former US president George W. Bush and President Barack Hussain Obama.

Dr Soomro also urged the government to take practical measures to solve problems being faced by the people of Sindh.

He said that the government should give Sindh its due in the NFC award.
