KARACHI, Jan 20: The Sindh Institute of Urology and Transplantation on Tuesday announced that an international surgical course on paediatric urology would be organised from Feb 25 to 28.

The course will be the first of its kind in the region as international faculty members, including P.G. Ransley and H.K. Dhillon from the UK and G.A. Manzoni from Italy, will not only discuss the management of paediatric urology but also perform most complex reconstructive surgical procedures for developmental defects in newborns and children, says an SIUT press statement.

This will provide a golden opportunity to local and regional physicians and surgeons to learn the current concepts and surgical skills.

Urologists, paediatric urologists, paediatric surgeons, paediatricians, paediatric nephrologists, obstetricians, radiologists and sonologists from all over the world, especially from Saarc countries and the Middle East, are expected to attend the course.—APP
