KARACHI, Jan 14: Wednesday’s matches in the Pakistan Football Federation (PFF) Under-13 Youth Cup saw mixed results.

The first match between Sialkot Blues and Lahore Whites in Lahore saw Sialkot’s Nasir scoring two goals (25th and 48th mins) and Bilal getting one in the 56th minute. The home team’s consolation goal came through a penaty kick utilized by Yousuf in the 52nd minute.

At Karachi’s Korangi Baloch Stadium Karachi Reds scored as many as four goals without getting any reply from the Jacobabad outfit.

Striker Mehtab Murad (21st and 29th mins), left fullback Mohammad Younus (17th min) and winger Zafar Ahmed (36th min) scored the goals.

Meanwhile, Peshawar Whites failed to utilise home atmosphere at Peshawar’s Tehmas Khan Stadium to suffer 0-1 defeat at the hands of Islamabad. The lone goal getter was striker Shahzeb in the 49th minute.

At Farooq Stadium, Nowshera, Nowshera was held to a 0-0 draw by Dir.—Agencies
