KABUL, Jan 7: President Asif Ali Zardari and President Hamid Karzai held another meeting on Wednesday.

It was their second one-to-one meeting in two days focussing on political and security situation in the region.

They reiterated their resolve to improve relations between the two countries for the betterment of their people.

They discussed ways of strengthening relations at the political, trade and cultural levels.

On Tuesday, President Zardari and President Karzai had hailed what the Afghan leader called a “new relationship” between the neighbouring countries and said they would work together and with the international community to combat extremists.—APP
