KARACHI, May 13: A senior journalist, M.A. Quadiri, passed way after a long illness on Saturday night and was buried on Sunday. His soyem will be held on Tuesday at his residence, 9/5 NKCHS, off Shaheed Millat Road, between Asr and Maghrib.

M.A. Quadiri was among those journalists who joined the profession in the early years of Pakistan. He worked with the British news agency Globe/Star, also for Reuters. Later he collaborated with the late Yunus Said in bringing out the magazine Vision and the weekly Combat of which he remained the editor till its closure in the 1980s.
