MIRAMSHAH, Nov 29: Two people were killed and two others injured in a missile attack on a house in Cheshma village of North Waziristan on Saturday.

It was not immediately clear whether a US drone had hit the house of tribesman Ihsan.

Local people said that it was a missile attack.

They said that four spy planes were flying over the area since morning.

Names of the deceased could not be ascertained.

The injured—Adnan and his wife—were taken to a hospital in Miramshah.

The locals said that Adnan and his family had no links with Taliban.

Security officials and a Taliban militant confirmed the strike, describing it as one carried out by US drones, according to Reuters.

“A missile was fired at a house… and we have reports of two men killed,” said an intelligence agency official.

Another security agent and a Taliban militant also confirmed the strike.
