DHQ hospital to get CT Scan machine

GUJRANWALA, Nov 23: The District Headquarters Hospital’s (DHQ) purchase committee has given an approval for the purchase of a

CT Scan machine and allocated Rs45 million for this purpose.

Reports said the approval was made in a meeting held here with DCO Dr Pervaiz Ahmad Khan in the chair. EDO (Health) Dr Nisar Ahmad Cheema, EDO (Community Development) Mian Naeem Akhtar, DHQ medical superintendent Dr Ali Muhammad Shahid, district liaison officer Riaz Butt, radiologist Dr Ishtiaq Safdar Tarar and other senior officers were also present.

It was learnt that the meeting continued for about eight hours and the tender was later awarded to an international company Filphs.
