MURREE, Nov 20: Winter received its first snowfall here on Thursday. The snowfall, which started after noon, continued for two hours and wrapped the whole area in white layer of snow.
The mercury dropped to -2 °C and the whole area was gripped in severe chill. s
Reports of snowfall were also received from Nathiagali and Ayubia.
Due to snowfall the vehicular traffic also remained suspended on some roads however traffic resumed after most of the roads were cleared by the Punjab Highway Department.
