KARACHI: Man found in N. Nazimabad

KARACHI, Sep 26: A young man was found dead in a gunny bag in North Nazimabad area on Friday.

The man was tortured to death after being picked up by his tormentors, area police said.

Police said they recovered the body after the area people informed them about the presence of a suspicious bag in the bushes near the KDA Chowrangi of Nazimabad.Police said the young man was severely tortured and a deep mark of cut was also visible around his neck.

The 25-year-old man, identified as Zahid, was the resident of Paposh Nagar area of Nazimabad, said an area police official.

“The body has been shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital, where the family has identified the victim.”

The victim was employed with a shop at Hyderi Market in North Naziamabad and did not return home after leaving for the shop on Thursday. The police suspected that the victim was picked up after he was turning home from his workplace late on Thursday.
